I'm not crazy!

I talk to my unborn children. When they are in my tummy I talk to them all the time, and this is what I say.
I love you so much. I am so excited for you to come here. I can't wait to hold you and love and kiss you. You get developed as fast as can because we are so excited to love and hold you. I tell them how important it is to get developed that is a key phrase. I tell my babies this as much and as often as I can.
I always pick my due date. It is fine with me if I go before the date I have chosen, just never after.
I have NEVER been induced.
Lexi was 1 week early
MaKaya was 2 weeks early
Savanna was 3 weeks 5 days early
Crew was 4 weeks early
All my babies have been healthy and happy. The last two had a few blood sugar issues but nothing major. They have all came home with me from the hospital.
My friend tried my theory out, and guess what, it worked. She had her baby boy three weeks early. You go ahead and give it a try. Lets see if it works for you.

It was bound to happen

I love my dog!
Am I cute or what.

Hello

Living with a house full of girls, it was only a matter of time before he got dressed up as a girl. He looks very much like my girls did as babies, but I'm happy to say that he is a cuter boy than he is a girl. Shaun was less than thrilled and even more angry when the pictures showed up on facebook. Now that they are on the blog I'm gonna be in real big trouble. I say relax dude, its only a few pictures. We sure do love our boy.

All Grown Up

Lexi has been asking for bangs for a while now, I gave in and am glad that I did. I thought they would be a pain, but so far so good. The only down side is they make her look more grown up than she all ready does. She was pretty much ready to be grown up the moment she was born. She has been mature for her age since she was two. I'm really lucky she's mine. She is a great help with Crew, and many times she is the only one that can reason with Savanna. She does get moody at times, but lets be honest what girl doesn't. She has one of the kindest hearts I know. She teaches me a lot, and I love her!

What can I say?

Those chocolate brown eyes and his chubby wet cheeks just make me melt. This baby boy is kissed hundreds of times each and every day. He is the sweetest happiest smiliest boy in the world. He was a gift given to me and I cherish him.

Spring Break

Good Times!

We love the Penguins

Getting ready to jump

Soooooooooooooo I have to admit I was dreading, I mean dreading Spring Break. My no sunshine for days depressed state was not in the mood for bickering children all week long. But I have to say that we had a pretty darn fun week, doing a whole lot of nothing.

One night we went shopping (minus Boo) and it was a lot of fun. Not having to fight with the four year old left us with lots of good times. We hit lots of stores and each got something fun. We ended our night with a yummy dinner at Carrabas.

We met up with friends for lunch and playdates.

We played outside and enjoyed some sunshine! YAY FOR THE SUN!!!

We stayed one night in Midway. The kids went swimming. Kids love to swim, as for me I only like to swim if there is sun involved. Indoor pools are not for me.

We ended the week with a trip to the Aquarium. The penguins were so fun to watch. They would jump up and the dive off into the water. Crew was fascinated with all the bright colors.

Driving home from Salt Lake thinking about the week we just had, got me really excited for Summer. The kids and I really have a fun time together. We love to be on the go and have fun.

It was meant to be

Sadie is a Lhasapoo, which is a Lhasa Apso and a Poodle mix. They are not called muts anymore, they are called "Designer Dogs". We have wanted a dog since our beloved Sammie died, but lets face it, a baby and a puppy is not a good mix. I felt like I might resent a dog that didn't know how to do anything. My heart wasn't into training a dog, I wanted one like Sammie that all ready knew all the rules. Okay mainly just pooping outside we aren't fancy folk. There is something simply irresistible about a puppy, buuuuuut I was trying to be practical for once in my life.

Shaun obsessed with browsing KSL came across our Sadie. Her add had barely been posted and she lived 5 minutes away. I called her then Mama (I'm her Mama now) she said we could come in the morning. Boo and I could hardly contain our excitement. We fell in love with her right away. She was friendly and cute as could be. Her under bite is extremely big, so you can't help yourself but smile when you see her. Her then Mama said we would have to wait to take her so her kids could say goodbye.

I was excited to have a new dog, but also nervous and concerned. Bringing an unknown dog into your home is in a sense like bringing in a stranger. You just don't know what you are going to get. And as sad as it is there are a lot of dogs out there (Izzy my moms naughty naughty dog stories for later dates) that are just plain rotten for pets. The problem is even if I don't like a dog, I'm not just going to get rid of it, I'm stuck with it. So as much as I wanted Sadie to be perfect I was a little scared.

We brought her home and she inspected every inch of our house. She didn't act scared or whine. I was hopeful. We let her out back and she went potty. She slept through the night without any crying. The next morning she rode with us in the car for our morning Pepsi. All day she came with us and followed us around, but wasn't in our face. We soon realized that she sits, lays down, stays, comes, and plays a mean game of fetch. She is so good with the kids especially Crew. He loves to pull her fur, she just sits and lets him. She likes to give him a kiss or two. She is perfect when we take her on walks. She doesn't pull ahead, she stops when you stop, a dream really. We all just love her so much.

I was texting with her old mom, letting her know that her baby was doing good. She let me know how happy she was that her Sadie was in a home that loved her, and had time for her. She was the one that said, it was meant to be. I truly feel like it was.

Sadie

Meet the newest member of our family. Miss Sadie Sue. As you can see we got ourselves a dog. She is three years old and cute as can be. She is all ready potty trained and loves loves loves kids. Last night as she was running through the house I felt like my family was complete once again. There is just something about having a dog.

Hot Tub Fun

Isn't my mom pretty.
Kevin cooling off

Nothing like a snow angel

MaKaya's competition was in Layton. My gracious uncle (my aunt is visiting my cousin) who lives in Fruit Heights offered his home to us. I was ever so grateful. They had a fun old time dipping in the hot tub, then running through the snow, then back to the hot tub. I think Kevin was having as much fun as them. Granny Crew and I were warm and happy inside.

My Super Hero

MaKaya had her first competition on Saturday. I remember competing as a child, it brought back many memories. MaKaya didn't sleep very good, the nerves were getting the best of her. Her team has so much fun performing. They have a lot of sassiness. They took first place in their Jazz number, first place in their production number and third place in their lyrical. She was beaming from ear to ear.

Legally Blonde

Whats a show without yummy food first.

My great friend Krista hooked us up with some Legally Blonde tickets. I just absolutely love stuff like this! When I finally get myself to New York all I want to do is watch Broadway shows. I love them. OMG
